Our Artisans
Simon Nepali was born in the mountains of Humla, Nepal, where he grew up surrounded by the beauty, traditions, clothing, and customs of Himalayan culture. At the age of four, he was sent to a children’s home, where he lived and completed his education before moving to the United States at 22. Growing up in Nepal, Simon loved trekking, exploring different communities, and discovering the unique cultures, clothing, and traditions found throughout the country. After moving to the U.S., he wanted to share the beauty and richness of his homeland with others. In 2026, Simon married Reema, who also comes from Nepal but grew up in the plains of the country. Together, they discovered the beauty in their two different backgrounds—Simon’s Himalayan mountain heritage and Reema’s plains culture. Their shared passion for Nepalese craftsmanship and culture inspired them to begin bringing beautiful, authentic products from Nepal to people in the United States. Through their work, Simon and Reema hope to share not only beautiful products, but also the stories, traditions, and cultural heritage behind them.
